This homeowner contacted Mette’s In & Out Construction to get ideas on bringing life to a very dated kitchen.  Tyler worked closely with the clients, getting to know them and understand everything they wanted in their new kitchen.  The new kitchen features dramatic, moody dark cabinets to match the clients new brushed stainless steel appliances.  We replaced the dated, chipped Formica countertops with new Corian white/smoke gray hard surface countertops and a black undermount sink.  We complimented the kitchen with a new white subway tile backsplash with charcoal colored grout and added updated outlets, switches and modern switchplates. Finally, we added a new, durable waterproof laminate floor for this high traffic room and replaced the antiseptic fluorescent overhead light with recessed lighting to accentuate the kitchen and illuminate its work spaces.  If you are thinking of coming to the ‘Dark Side’, let’s talk!
